Randy Greenway, CPA

Bio:

Randy has been in public accounting with MWH Group for 40 years.  He is a graduate of Midwestern State University.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.  Randy is a lifelong resident of the Wichita Falls area.  He and his wife Susan currently live in Burkburnett.   He has special knowledge in the financial institution, retail sales, automobile sales, construction and real estate industries as well as general corporate, partnership and individual taxation.  Randy volunteers for various nonprofit organizations.  He is an elder for First Christian Church, Burkburnett, Texas.  Randy and Susan spend most of their free time enjoying their family which includes a daughter and her husband, a son and his wife and seven grandchildren.  Randy also enjoys reading, traveling and outdoor activities.

Barry Plaxco, CPA

Bio:

Barry began his public accounting career in January 1979 with MWH Group, joining the firm immediately upon his graduation from Midwestern State University.  He is a shareholder in the tax department.  He grew up in Bellevue, Texas and moved to Wichita Falls in 1978.  Barry is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.  He works in most areas of taxation, including individual, fiduciary, corporate and partnership, with special knowledge and emphasis in estate and gift planning and taxation of estates and trusts.  Barry serves as a deacon at Faith Baptist Church of Wichita Falls and is actively involved on the boards of various nonprofits, including Wichita Falls YMCA, Rotary Club of Southwest Wichita Falls, and Texoma Planned Giving Council.  He and his wife, Lisa, have a son and a daughter. Barry enjoys jogging, swimming, piano, cooking and traveling.

John Luig, Jr., CPA

Bio:

John has been in public accounting for 20 years.  He is a tax shareholder with 18 total years with MWH Group.  He is a graduate of Midwestern State University.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.  John is a lifelong resident of Wichita Falls.  He has special knowledge in the construction, manufacturing, and oil and gas industries as well as general corporate, partnership and individual taxation.  John serves on numerous nonprofit boards and committees.  He is a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church.  He is married to Renee with three daughters.  John enjoys cycling, hunting, fishing and cook outs with family.

Rodney Case, CPA, MAFF

Bio:

Rodney has been in public accounting for 15 years with 12 total years at MWH Group.  He is a lifelong Wichita Falls resident and is a graduate of Midwestern State University.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts, and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.  He has special knowledge in performing attest work for nonprofit organizations and a wide variety of nonpublic industries, including construction and manufacturing.  He also holds the designation as Master Analyst in Financial Forensics.  Rodney serves on numerous nonprofit boards and committees, and is currently the President of the Wichita Falls Optimist Club.   He is a member of Colonial Church.  He is a married to Amy with a son and a daughter.   Rodney enjoys coaching his kids, traveling and working out.



Supervisory Manager

Dana Taylor, CPA

Bio:

Dana has been in public accounting for 33 years, all with MWH Group. She is a tax supervisory manager. She has lived in the Wichita Falls area for over 40 years and is a graduate of Midwestern State University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Dana has special knowledge in nonprofit tax-exemption applications, nonprofit compliance, and 1031 exchanges, as well as general corporate, partnership and individual taxation. Dana currently serves as treasurer of the Nonprofit Center board. She attends First Baptist Church West Campus. She has two daughters and a grandson. Dana enjoys shopping, art projects, and spending time with family, especially her grandson.

Kathy Kabell, CPA

Bio:

Kathy has been in public accounting for about 25 years.  She is a tax supervisory manager with 8 years at MWH Group.  She is a graduate of Midwestern State University.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Council of Petroleum Accountants.  Kathy was born in Wichita Falls.  She moved to Canada and Maryland because of her husband's profession.  They returned to Wichita Falls in January, 2007.  She has special knowledge in the oil and gas industry, construction, and nonprofit organizations as well as general corporate, partnership and individual taxation.  Kathy serves on several nonprofit boards and committees.  She is a member of St Paul Lutheran Church.  She is married to Douglas with one son.  Kathy enjoys reading and working in her lawn.

Valerie Halverson, CPA

Bio:

Valerie has been in public accounting for about 7 years.  She is an audit supervisory manager with 4 years at MWH Group.  She is a graduate of Wake Forest University.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Government Finance Officers Association.  Valerie was born in Wichita Falls.  After college in North Carolina, she moved to Dallas for 3 years before returning to Wichita Falls in June, 2011.  She has special knowledge in performing attest work for government entities and nonprofit organizations.  She is a member of First Presbyterian Church.  She is married to Andrew with two sons and one daughter.  Valerie enjoys cooking, being at the lake, and spending time with her family.
