Meet Our Team

John has been in public accounting since 1995. He is a tax shareholder with over 20 years with MWH Group. He is a graduate of Midwestern State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. John is a lifelong resident of Wichita Falls. He has special knowledge in the construction, manufacturing, and oil and gas industries as well as general corporate, partnership and individual taxation. John serves on numerous nonprofit boards and committees. He is a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church. He is married to Renee with three daughters. John enjoys cycling, hunting, fishing and cook outs with family.

Barry began his public accounting career in January 1979 with MWH Group, joining the firm immediately upon his graduation from Midwestern State University. He is a shareholder in the tax department. He grew up in Bellevue, Texas and moved to Wichita Falls in 1978. Barry is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. He works in most areas of taxation, including individual, fiduciary, corporate and partnership, with special knowledge and emphasis in estate and gift planning and taxation of estates and trusts. Barry serves as a deacon and pianist at Faith Baptist Church of Wichita Falls and is actively involved on the board of Rotary Club of Southwest Wichita Falls. He and his wife, Lisa, have a son and a daughter. Barry enjoys reading, piano, cooking and traveling.

Rodney has been in public accounting since 1999, with all but 2 of those years at MWH Group. He is a lifelong Wichita Falls resident and is a graduate of Midwestern State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts, and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has special knowledge in performing attest work for nonprofit organizations and a wide variety of nonpublic industries, including construction and manufacturing. Rodney performs peer review services for other CPA firms. He also holds the designation as Master Analyst in Financial Forensics. Rodney serves on numerous nonprofit boards and committees, and is currently the past president of the Wichita Falls Optimist Club. He attends First Baptist Church of Wichita Falls. He is married to Amy who is a teacher with WFISD. Together, they have a son who attends Midwestern State University and a daughter who attends the University of Arkansas. Rodney enjoys traveling, working out, and hiking.

Valerie has been in public accounting since 2008. She was born and raised in Wichita Falls, but she moved to Winston-Salem, North Carolina, to attend Wake Forest University for college. She graduated in 2008, and spent three years working at an international public accounting firm in Dallas before returning home to join MWH Group in June, 2011. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Government Finance Officers Association. She has a specialized knowledge in performing attest work for government entities and nonprofit organizations. She is a member of First Presbyterian Church, and serves on several local boards. She is married to Andrew with two sons and one daughter. Valerie enjoys cooking, being at the lake, and spending time with her family.

Miranda began her public accounting career in 2005 as an intern at MWH Group. She was born and raised in Archer City and earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Midwestern State University. Miranda is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. She works in most areas of taxation including individual, fiduciary, corporate and partnership taxation. Miranda is a member of First Baptist Church, Wichita Falls and is actively involved on the board of several nonprofits. Miranda and her husband, Johnny, have two daughters and a son and reside in Wichita Falls. Miranda enjoys coaching and watching her kids' activities, reading, and traveling.
