Carlos Ruiz, CPA, MPA

Carlos began his public accounting career as an intern at MWH Group in January 2007. A native of Knox City, Texas, he earned his undergraduate degree from Midwestern State University and his graduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Carlos serves as a financial statement auditor for financial institutions, construction and manufacturing companies, and other for-profit organizations. With nearly two decades of experience, he brings a practical, detail-oriented approach to helping clients navigate accounting and reporting matters. He is married to Christina, and they have a young son, Mateo. Outside of work, Carlos enjoys hosting friends and family at their shop, spending time with his family, and playing with their two dogs, Duke and Chase. He also enjoys cookouts, golf, and watching baseball, NASCAR, and football.
